It's exactly what you pay for. The property seems put together in a hurry. The bathroom was very good, but the rest was just this side of good enough.

Not bad for a Budget room. Comfy bed and powerful shower. Ok for a night or two

Fairly close to local shops amazing Greek restaurant within 300 m

On approach of the Portsmouth Inn budget hotel it did look a bit off putting by all the wiring and stuff by the door but, as I found out when you go inside everything is nice and clean. there is nobody there to welcome you. It is a self service keyless entry. when you get in contact with the actual property manager you’re given a card via A key holder lock which opens the front door and opened your room inside the room. It is clean well maintained, decent shower, full tea coffee facilities, the only complaint i must make is the thickness of the mattress wasn’t thick enough for me and found my hips were touching the bed base when I was laying on my side. There again, I am set thick man. In the daytime, I met the cleaner who was very helpful very polite and very attentive. My stay was pleasant and I would recommend anybody on a budget to visit the hotel.

good communication, the owner/manager called me the day before to run through the process as i left i spotted a fridge and microwave, not sure if it was for guests to use, however it would have been nice to use if it is, as i stayed 2 nights i could of kept some drinks cold i moved my son into halls, and it was a short 10 min walk away i parked on the street with no issues it said if you wanted towels changed leave on the floor, i hung mine up, as i was happy to reuse, i wouldnt expect on a 2 night stay for the housekeeper to come, however they did and changed the towels, despite there being a notice in the bathroom re towels being washed unnecessarily! would have stayed again in a couple of weeks but i found a cheaper hotel shops are a short walk away i had the room nearest the front door and was perfect, it was clean, defiantly a budget hotel, but it was a base to sleep in, everything worked ass expected a few steps up to the property, incase you have mobility issues

Just a short walk from the waterfront a good restaurant on the same block. There’s no front counter. You just talk to the person managing the place through two a speakers.

The room was in the basement and the size of a box. Deceiving pictures. Hated it so much we left a day early. Beware of the word budget.
