Website stated they had car rental on site, they do not. Workers did absolutely nothing to help or to rectify this issue. Charge you $150 for 2 people to eat at the buffet if you didn’t choose “all inclusive”. Food was absolute TRASH. Like completely inedible. Didn’t have beach towels available in the am. I could’ve stayed at a 5 star resort for the cost of food and finding a car on my own.

Terrible experience, my wife's headphones were stolen from the room. We talked with the receptionist, even showed her that they were somewhere in the city (probably the maid's home) through the "Find" app. She basically shrugged and told us it wasn't their problem. The food is not good either, even for an all included. Avoid.

Yikes..this is not the kind of place I'd vacation on and we only ended up there because the travel agent put my sister there so I reserved the same place, but I wouldn't have pick this hotel myself. Facilities: The hotel is OLD, the rooms are extremely outdated, dingy furniture, scratched/stained mirrors, mismatched tiles, terrible/horrible paint job, very thin sheets and thin and very scratchy and greyed out towels (although the beach towels were good). The room was clean however, but they use this very strong product that you can smell a mile away.. There's no vents so after a while the room feels stuffy and you have to open a window which has no screens nor protection. The bed was comfortable though and the AC always worked and the water temperature was good. They should have the beach cleaned up daily from all the sargassum and the trash that people leave around, it was very unsavory to walk over the dried out debris to get to the water. . We were too close to the boarding dock of a commercial ferry which made us feel a bit unsafe and produced a lot of noise and there were too many random people with easy access. There was grafitti also on some of the retaining walls at the beach. The food: I think the intention is to showcase Mexican food, but the quality of the food was below average. We spent Christmas' Eve there and were looking forward to a nice Mexican traditional feast but by 8pm most of the food was gone and entertainment was subpar.

Beach is full of poop feces being washed up from the ocean, resort is very old and ran down, buildings are hideous to the eye, they look like ghetto apartment buildings, pools are small, murky and ugly, our room was never cleaned, just bed made and towels changed. No entertainment at all, Spanish screaming at night which they believe is singing and it was really annoying. Most staff do not speak any English. No amenities, no drinks in the fridge, no coffee maker, one tiny buffet restaurant for the whole place and guests are allowed to enter in whatever clothing they wish any time of day, even in bathing suits at dinner. Not acceptable, no class. Beach has old worn down wood loungers, this is by far the worse place in the whole hotel zone.

The pool area and the kind staff were wonderful.

Very bare room. No elevators. Pool not cleaned. Only buffet. Same food every day. Very dated hotel. Needs upgrade.

La nourriture n'est pas très chaude et pas très variée . Un gros manque de chaises. Très bien situé. Mais pour le prix c'est assez bien.

I can’t say enough bad things about this place or about Expedias response to my problems. The door would not lock, no dead bolt or chain. The place was so nasty, I felt dirtier just getting in the bed. I wouldn’t have stayed but it was 11 pm when we got there and there was no where else to go. People were making noise all night. Then at 3 am the front desk sold our room to someone else because they hadn’t marked it as occupied. Someone came in my room at 3 am. Worst experience of my life. Please stay away. Remember if you have a problem Expedia will not help you.

We stayed here for 2 nights before staying on Isla Mujeres for 9 days. 2 nights here was too long. Old crumbling buildings and old rooms. Bathroom sink faucet was broken and barely worked. We asked 5x for clean towels and didn’t get them until my husband went down to the front desk and said he wasn’t leaving until he got them. Walls are paper thin and we could hear everything in the hallways and outside. There was a 3” space under the door so no noise control. Food was just ok and beach small and crowded. Would not recommend at all. Cesar the waiter was the only great thing about this place.

Upon arrival we found out that we indeed not only owe the balance we were under the impression of paying but that we had to pay more by $175 dollars. We went ahead with the check in and everyone here is very accommodating. The service is very friendly, food was good and the accesses here are wonderful. I would come here again, but through a different app so I wouldn’t be surprised with extra fees later.
