The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. But the breakfast was not that good.

Well I booked another stay at one of my favorite hotels this place is very unique the staff is unbelievable always ready to jump and help you and if you need anything the area is very walkable there's so much to do in that area it's safe and like I said I've been saving it for a while almost every weekend they make you feel so welcome it's like another home for me hats off to the right side that they have that they're so nice

Staff was very friendly. Bed was comfy. Hot water did not work at first and I had to ask to get it fixed late at night. They fixed it. Neighborhood is not nice.

Well I stay here a few times a month great staff they will go out of your way to help you if you need anything the room was very comfortable and comfortable and shopping there's a lot of shopping to do in this area I love staying here it's my second home

The on line description does not match the hotel. It's in a horrible area with a park beside it with homeless people smoking marijuana. Parking is it a non secure lot. Don't get me started on the rooms. TV on wall didn't work so other tv was propped microwave. The window covering didn't cover whole window and view out was a nasty building with bars on the window. We stayed 5 mins in our room after waiting 30 to get in because they didn't see our reservation that we booked on March ans decided there was no way we were comfortable in this place and checked out.

Great great staff beautiful room.It was a all around great stay it's a home away from home very peaceful.I was pleased

I was a bit worried because is was $75 for the night, but was I SURPRISED. The rooms are named off of historical Icons/Figures Like Josephine Baker, Marcus Garvey, Madam CJ Walker, etc... They was clean, Smell clean, spacious, and well put together. The best sleep I had in a hotel room, and my husband said the same. The Staff was caring, attentive to our needs. The building was well clean. I stayed in more expensive room and they didn't all they satisfing qualities. The 5 of us was very pleased Including my 2 year's old. If we are in that area again we are DEFINITELY staying there.

Should allow early check in. For no charge. Otherwise a nice historic hotel at a lot less than the chains. Loved it. Close to everything

Made an accident on the date when booking and Kristen in reservations at tbe property helped change the date! Looking forward to staying there in August 2026.

Upon arrival, around 19:00, I was greeted by Deborah. Very pleasant and charming, no issues. I was booked into the Langley room on the first floor, for 2 nights. The room had a smell of dampness however after putting on the A/C it seems to disappear. I just left it on low all night. The shower was good with a strong spray of water. After my first night, when I woke up, there was still a lingering damp smell. On my day off leaving, my second morning I gave the breakfast a go. The hard boiled egg, you could bounce off the wall so I gave that a miss, and just had a coffee. I noticed around 20 bite marks at the time. Thought nothing of it, checked out and headed to the airport for my flight to JFK. Upon arriving at JFK these bite marks are now more itchy. I sought medical advice to be told these are bed bug bites.
