Pearl Hotel is in a convenient location, close to Grand Bazaar, and fairly close to major attractions such as Aja Sofia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace etc. Hotel is a few minutes walking from tram station, which can get you pretty much anywhere...
Hotel itself is in a decent condition, reasonably clean. Service is not highly professional but is satisfying. There are not many facilities in the hotel. However, there is a dinning room where breakfast is served and it also has coffee machine available 24/7 - which was great for a coffee lover like myself. Also available 24/7 is fresh drinking water (tap water is not safe for drinking in Istanbul). Overall, I could recommend this hotel for stay in Istanbul.

The hotel was very dirty with an awful smell. I changed the room twice. I was told by one staff that the owner is German. When the owner is around, the hotel is maintained and when the owner is away, the hotel cleanliness and services go down ... It was a horrible stay.

Tuyệt vời Wonderful hotel, probably the best I've been to in Istanbul in at least a dozen trips to the city. Incredible value, very high standards of cleanliness and functionality. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. The air conditioning was a big plus, and the bathrooms were very nice (something you need to watch out for here, especially as you get to the more economically priced venues). The location is virtually perfect, in the middle of the shopping district , very close to things of touristic value and located exactly on the line where European-looking visitors will stop being pressured into buying something by everyone they see. The only real issue is that there's not much table space in the room, but for the price, location, and quality of the place I'd hardly call that an issue. A great find!
