Tuyệt vời Fantastic place, lovely and clean and very close to everything, cinema, pubs, restaurants all within a couple of minutes walk, Kevin and Tracey were both fantastic and very friendly, we will definitely be staying here again!

Tuyệt vời Fantastic guest house right in the heart of Ambleside, everything is on your doorstep. Hosts were friendly and really helpful, good local knowledge of walks etc. Room was spotless, great en-suit. The breakfast was amazing, we had a full English first morning, lovely coffee, yogurt with honey and granola, which set us up for a full day of walking, second day we had the salmon and eggs, again with coffee, yogurt with honey and granola, great quality produce, I'd say award winning! Will certainly be back.

The whole experience was great, very clean, modern and the breakfast was delicious with lots of options to choose from. Parking much easier than expected, secure parking was provided a short walk away, and easy on street parking for loading. The owners are very friendly and approachable and even helped with our bags.

Melrose Guest house is a beautiful place to stay in the Ambelside, Lakes National Park, and Windemere area. It is conveniently located in town by restaurants, ships, and trails. The room was spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing every day of our stay. This is the place to stay in Ambelside!

Melrose House Guest House is the most beautifully maintained and comfortable place we have stayed in for some time. The rooms are beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. Tracey and Kevin are fabulous hosts and the breakfast is amazing. The location of the Guest House could not be better. 100% recommended.
