New, modern, sophisticated, amazing overall service (is it a Swiss thing???), excellent breakfast. Very convenient location

I booked this hotel months in advance, before Europe experienced the extreme heat wave. At the time, I knew the hotel didn’t have air conditioning, but I never imagined temperatures would become dangerously high. During our trip, my teenage son became ill from the extreme heat and required medical attention. I had no choice but to find another hotel with air conditioning, costing me an additional $2,200 for 4 nights. I contacted the hotel, explained the medical emergency, and asked if they could work with me on a refund or even a partial refund. They refused. As a single mom who spent years saving to give my son this once-in-a-lifetime trip, I was devastated. Instead of showing even the smallest amount of compassion during a genuine emergency, they chose to keep every dollar despite the fact we spent less than one hour in the room. I understand that hotels have cancellation policies, but there should also be room for basic human decency when someone’s health is at risk. No parent should have to choose between losing thousands of dollars and protecting their child’s well-being. If you’re traveling during the summer months, especially as heat waves become more common, I strongly recommend staying somewhere with air conditioning. I wish I had known how dangerous the conditions would become. Very disappointing experience, not because the hotel lacked AC, but because it lacked compassion. Shameful!

The hotel is small but clean and in a great location. The staff were friendly and provided some suggestions for excursions and Discounts with the hotel card. The room is very small with no real counter space or closet. They also did not have a luggage rack. There is no refrigerator in the room or ice machines on any of the guest floors but you can request some ice at the bar in the lobby. They give it to you in a small Plastic bag. It would have been nice to at least have an ice bucket to keep the ice and a few beverages in. The breakfast buffet included a wide variety to select from- both hot and cold items including fresh fruit and a self- service coffee station.

Great location immediately next to the Interlaken West train station, zero noise, lots and lots of shopping and restaurant options. A mile walk to Interlaken East. The staff was amazing, helpful, friendly and professional. The breakfast buffet was great! Highly recommend.

The film didn’t have a fridge, which wasn’t ideal, as I’m type 1 diabetic and needed to refrigerate my travel cool packs and gel pouch for my insulin. The outside seating area cushions all get taken away at a certain time which I’ve never encountered before at a hotel. We traveled on motorbikes, and paid for the unground parking for one night, the following night we just parked them round the corner of the hotel to save money. The hotel staff know the area better than anyone, so it would have been nice for them to suggest somewhere that doesn’t charge, but I also know they need to make extra money. But overall, it wasn’t a bad stay, the hotel is located in an ideal location, the staff are friendly, and the rooms were a good size.

Lovely hotel & apartments. Unfortunately it was super hot & apartments were stuffy & no AC. Unbearably hot for sleeping. At a different time of year it would have been great.

We stayed in a Junior Suite with 2 Terraces for reference. Since the main point of being in Switzerland is to get out and enjoy the mountains the room isn't as important. This hotel has one main selling point, location and proximity to the Interlaken West train platform. It is essentially on the platform so you walk out of the hotel and onto the train. Only downside is most of restaurants and areas of interest are on the other side of the town. Not that there is a huge gap, probably about a 20 minute walk, or simply take the train from West to East. Bonus is if you are heading back toward Thun, Zermatt, Zurich etc you are already on the correct side of town. Included breakfast was great, plenty to choose from as it was a large buffet. I would recommend staying here.

Very spacious, modern and clean. It feels like an apartment rather than a hotel. Two bedrooms, one bath, kitchen with stove, fridge and dishwasher. Location is perfect as the property is connected to the Interlaken West station; and the bus to Interlaken East station is two minutes walk; and so is the ferry terminal to Spiez and Thun. No AC.

I loved this hotel , it’s so cosy in the winter . You can literally access as soon as you alight of the train . Rooms are nice and clean . Breakfast was nice too .

Check in & out we’re great. The young man who checked us in (we are a group of 8) was outstanding, smart, kind and very helpful. He’s a keeper! A true multi tasker times 5!!
