Stayed night before we flew from Luton. Lovely place and would stay again. Room just needed a chain lock as i felt someone could have come in.

Convenient for Luton airport, friendly team

3 of us booked single rooms for a stay while seeing Iron Maiden at Knebworth. Didn't want to drive from Sheffield and back the same day as the show. We had left it late to book rooms and this was the lowest priced place anywhere within an hour's drive of the gig. Evening meal was excellent, with lots of choices and drinks well priced (actually lower priced than our local pub). Breakfast also good quality and well priced. Staff very helpful. Not much extra room past the comfy bed with double sized mattress and desk and table but didn't feel cramped. When push comes to shove, we only needed the rooms for showering and sleeping anyway. Only minor issue we could think of was shower cubicle floor is very smooth, so easy to slip on if unfirm, but as there are signs to say so, it didn't catch any of us out.

Very warm room, staff not available. Food at pub stops at 9pm

This is a really cost effective and reliable-road trip stop hotel with free vehicle parking on site - it is good for a single night stop and it is well set up with very attentive and knowledgeable staff. Everything works but our only criticism is they should refill the bathroom soap dispensers (ours were empty) and the next time they refurbish rooms they ought to zhuzh it all up a bit.

Old musty smell throughout the hotel including the corridor, room and bar areas. No receptionist, had to wage ages for the bar staff to come over to reception to check us in. Our room was booked for 3, only a bed for 2 was prepared, had to walk all the way back to the bar to report this, eventually the bar staff came over to prepare the 3rd bed. Lots of cracks in the walls, old smelly carpets, rubbish left in corridors.

Either refurbished or brand new, a very nice and clean room, and no noise, plenty of parking

Room was very clean but the ceiling in the bathroom needs attention. The paint has bubbled and started to come off, just needs some tlc. Staff were friendly and helpful. Sufficient parking and location is great. I have stayed a few times for work and pleasure, will certainly return. :)
