This was a wonderful home base for us for a few nights as we explored the South Coast and Golden Circle. Now I'm dreaming of coming back for the Northern Lights. The Hotel was lovely - we stayed in the rooms (not one of the cabins). They were simple and had everything we needed. We had breakfast both mornings of our stay - it was delicious. And dinner one evening - and learned we needed to book that ahead so they knew their headcount for the evening meal. The property was gorgeous - we made friends with an Icelandic horse as we strolled behind the restaurant.

Tuyệt vời Hotel Laekur was an incredibly beautiful, relaxing place to stay. We stayed in a cabin for 4, which was warm and comfortable, with a serene view. The breakfast was delicious and hearty, and the staff were so kind. We all loved how peaceful the place was, would love to return - especially for the Northern Lights, which we missed but would be spectacular in this settlng. Highly recommend!

Breakfast menu was ok, not great. The rooms were very cute and very comfortable. Staff was very nice. Would stay again.

very sweet place. we were a family of 9 and stayed in 2 large cabins. breakfast was wonderful. dinner was also great. we saw the northern lights just as in the photos!

Tuyệt vời Clean room. Nice breakfast. Pretty location. Staff was nice. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night a couple of times and staff was no where to be seen for what felt like a long time. It was faulty not a fire. It was a bit frustrating at 3am. Nothing was mentioned the next morning. I would think a discount would have been given or an apology but nothing.

Beautiful views! We went in hopes to experience the aurora borealis (we had two nights previous luckily) even in their absence this place lacked no picturest moments. Horses in the field 10m away, the moon rising, and a peaceful time spent in the hot tub and sauna were beyond my hopes.. safe and friendly

Will definitely come back! The location is great for stargazing and watching aurora. Access to hot tub with the cold plunge was perfect. Great selection of breakfast!
