Writing this review I feel really torn between my gratitude for the great and friendly staff, on one side, and the general offer at the hotel. I felt marketing this hotel as a 4-star was a huge exaggeration (let's say there was far more than one star difference between this hotel and Shangri'la !). Furniture was originating from well into the 1980s, no room service, and dozens of missing small amenities that make a difference between a dormitory and an upper business tier hotel. This particular venue was a solid 2 stars by most European or North American conventions. Having said that, it was clean, staff was courteous, and I had no unpleasant incident. And again, very kind and helpful staff whom I wanted to thank for all their care.

Great hotel.. friendly staff.. room was large.. breakfast was lovely and the bar/lounge area was relaxing.. I would book here again.

Very friendly staff and accommodating staff. We stayed with a 9 months old baby and the room was already equipped with everything we needed upon arrival

The hotel was clean and spacious. Staff are very helpful. There was cold drinking water machine for guests to fill up your own bottke and bring away with you. My room was big, bright, clean and comfortable. Everything is working well in the room and we had great sleep. Not too far from city centre but very easy to access with public transportation. There are many good restaurants in the area, real excellent food, not a tourist trap like city centre. Fantastic stay!

Fantastic gem of a hotel. I had the Junior Suite and it was great. Lots of room, hot shower, freezing cold aircon. Location is really good. The restaurant is also nice. I had the Angus Burger and the Southern Chicken Burger and both were delicious. Will definitely stay here again when I next visit Brussels

Nothing impressive. I’ll remember the heavy cigarettes smell throughout the property including the room. Carpets needs deep cleaning.

Hotel was perfect for a long weekend get away. It’s in perfect location to both Brussels central and midi station 30 mins walking for both. Buffet breakfast was smaller than other places we’ve been too but honestly they had enough food for every taste. If your gluten or lacto intolerant they had a section there too. Staff were lovely, just bear in mind that there isn’t a daily clean service of your room you have to ask specifically what you need and it gets done, no fuss. We really appreciated that we could leave our bags in a safe place at the hotel especially as we were catching a late train. Room was spacious, we did arrive early and they kindly found us a room before check in time which was greatly appreciated as we had woken up super early and just needed a nap before our Brussels centre adventure. I would massively recommend this hotel. You are not far away from a very chic high street and the town centre is around a 30 min walk. Almost forgot there is a Carrefour extra across the road for anything. Would definitely come back.

Nice location, big lobby.

I had to ask for a change of room due to the first room being well below standard. Second room was better but still littered with the previous occupants hair clips all over the place. Shame has this used to be a great hotel
