Stayed overnight in Reyjavik at the beginning of our trip. Close to the city centre with parking. Room small. But hotel contacted us to let us know that they found my husband’s 1 hearing aid. Much appreciated

I was disappointed with my stay at Hotel Eyja. Although it’s advertised as a 4-star hotel, my experience was much closer to a 3-star property. The biggest issue was the reception staff, who were mostly unhelpful and unwelcoming. A friendly and professional front desk sets the tone for a hotel stay, and unfortunately that was completely missing here. The hotel itself was average, with nothing particularly memorable or special to justify its 4-star rating. Overall, it lacked the level of service and attention to detail I expected. The only positive part of my stay was that a couple of the staff working in the kitchen were genuinely kind and friendly, and I appreciated their attitude. Also the hotel close to the centre. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again, and I can’t recommend it based on the service I received.

Wonderful and beautiful place to stay.

Positive:Good location, close to several restaurants, not really in main downtown area but several nice places nearby. Parking in front of the hotel was smooth. Breakfast was very good, it is worth the extra charge. Negative: Check in process was not good. After a long flight, despite asking for an early check in with no success and waiting for several hours to get my room ready, other people get their rooms firsthand arriving much later than me. Receptionist wasn’t kind nor helpful. Room cleaning was erratic, happened only on the first day but not on the others, even though we left the tag outside asking for it.

Fantastic room. Staff was super helpful. Walking distance to everything. Free parking. Would highly recommend.

They charge over $30 per person for breakfast and the parking is too small and you have to fine street parking and pay for it ….

Over priced for the size of the room and location to main tourist area.

Clean room, nice staff, decor is beautiful.

Not particularly central but good parking, not too far to go downtown, nice boutique hotel. Would stay there again.
