Under 14 can’t use the pool.

Staff was super nice and delightfully accomodating. Rooms were clean, the beds were super comfy and the TV was huge. A little cramped by western standards, but I've been in smaller rooms that are competitive to this hotel. This hotel is in a prime location close to the Hongik subway entrance and bus terminal to Incheon airport. Great restaurants and coffee shops just steps away and close enough to the Red Road in Hongdae to be convenient for the busking and nightlife but distant enough from the hustle and bustle that it won't annoy you. This hotel has been one of my better stays while touring Asia. I would rebook this hotel if I'm back in Seoul.

Staff went truly above and beyond — a highlight of our trip The location is excellent — metro right on the doorstep, surrounded by cafés, restaurants, and lively side streets full of shops, young energy, and things to do. A great base for exploring the city. Breakfast is decent without being remarkable. The food is tasty but the selection is limited, so if variety matters to you in the morning, you might prefer heading out to one of the many options nearby — the neighbourhood makes that easy. The rooms are very comfortable — great beds, quality pillows, and an impressively large TV. Street noise can be an issue for light sleepers; the hotel does provide earplugs, which helps. There's also some construction nearby, though that was less noticeable than the street itself. The pool is genuinely good — well-maintained, plenty of sunbeds, and attentive service. It opens at 10am and there's no bar on site, so bring your own drinks if you plan to spend time there. A special mention for the staff. We had left a jacket at a previous hotel and the team here went out of their way to arrange a courier pickup — organising everything through a service that normally only operates for private individuals. That level of care and effort is rare and made a real impression on us.

Clean room, but the lift is quite slow

I stayed at 4 different hotels during my 2.5 week trip to Korea and sadly L7 Hongdae was the worst. Mostly due to the fact the carpets in my room were very dirty you could see black stains everywhere which made me feel like the cleanliness level was very poor. There was also barely any storage space in our room. We booked the superior family room and there was nowhere to put our stuff. The only good memory I have here was the staff. They were very helpful and friendly.

Disappointing Second Stay – Shocking Lack of Cleanliness and Professionalism This was my second stay at L7, and it was a massive disappointment. The first room we were given was shockingly dirty. Most alarmingly, we found fecal matter left in the toilet. We requested to change our room immediately. While the replacement room was okay, the unprofessionalism and the initial unsanitary conditions completely ruined our entire experience. I expected much higher standards from L7 based on my previous visit. Hesitation to return.

The location was very convenient and easy to find. The staff were amazing and incredibly helpful. I also really appreciate all the extra things that are available at this property that made everything easier, to name a few: the lounge is amazing for when you arrive on an early AM flight and need a space to regroup before exploring, the amble luggage holding space that is made available to travellers, and they even have Dysons hair systems for rent if you find that your hair isn’t cooperating. Would absolutely stay here again and would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for the ideal property in central Seoul.

Hotel was nice and clean, and located in a good location. You have a direct train to incheon airport and lots of bars and restaurants in the neighbourhood. Also there is an olive young just across the street if you are interested in buying k-beauty products.
