Taiwan trains

If you have booked a one-way ticket, you will receive 1 voucher number. If you have booked round-trip tickets, you will receive 2 voucher numbers (1 for your departure and 1 for your return).

You can use your voucher number to collect your train tickets online or in person.

Online ticket collection

1. Download the latest version of the High Speed Rail T-EX App.
2. Key in your voucher code and your ID/Passport number.
3. Collect your ticket on the app.

In-person ticket collection

1. Go to the collection counter or ticket self-collection machine at the high speed rail station and key in your voucher and government/photo ID number to collect your ticket.
2. You can also collect your ticket at selected convenience stores partnered with Taiwan High Speed Rail (7-11, FamilyMart, OK Mart, etc). You will need to pay NT$10 for each ticket at pick up. Check out this article for more information!

Senior / concession tickets

1. These have to be collected in person by presenting your voucher number and photo/government ID. Check out this article for more information.

Please note that any amendments/cancellations for tickets will have to be conducted at the High Speed Rail ticket collection counter. Check your booking details for more information on your ticket's cancellation policy.

High Speed Rail Ticket:

To amend the ticket time, head to the collection counter at the rail station 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time. The staff at the station can help you amend your ticket. To amend the departing/arriving stations, please cancel your existing booking and rebook with the correct information. The travel date cannot be changed; only other trains or seats on the same day of travel can be modified. Each PNR is limited to one change only.

Add-on items:

If your ticket offers free cancellation, you can cancel and rebook your high speed rail ticket and your add-on item with the correct information. Check your voucher and Bookings page for more information on your ticket's cancellation policy. Make sure to double-check the validity of vouchers for add-on items since some add-on items are open-dated and may not require amendment.

Before collecting your ticket:

1. Head to your Bookings Bookings page on Klook at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time.
2. Select your High Speed Rail booking and cancel your ticket.

You can also ask for help from the staff at the collection counter in the rail station to cancel and refund your ticket.

For add-on items, please get in touch with Klook Customer Support after cancelling your High Speed Rail ticket and we'll help you get any applicable refunds. Please note that this is subject to the Terms & Conditions of your selected items and original ticket.

After collecting your ticket:

1. If you've already redeemed your ticket in-person/online, please head to the closest collection counter at a rail station, or a partnering convenience store.
2. You will be charged a TWD20 handling fee for each refunded ticket, and you will receive the remaining balance as a refund to your account.
3. Make sure to collect proof of your cancellation and refund from the counter/store.

You can only cancel/amend your High Speed Rail ticket more than 30 minutes from your scheduled departure time. Add-on items cannot be cancelled or refunded once you've collected your High Speed Rail Ticket.

Please note:

1. You cannot partially refund your High Speed Rail booking (eg: cancel only 1 ticket if your booking has 2 tickets). If you have a return ticket and one leg of the journey has already been used/elapsed, you cannot cancel or refund your ticket.
2. In the event of a typhoon: customers who have train tickets which fall between the dates of a maritime typhoon warning will be able to request a refund within 1 year of their scheduled departure date, free of charge.

After booking confirmation, you can also check the details from the Bookings page or your voucher.

Important:

1. Any additional items must be used within the dates and according to the Terms & Conditions stated on your booking.
2. Cancellations and refunds for additional items will depend on the Terms & Conditions and the cancellation policy of your items.
