The room was clean, the towels very good quality. The word Chef should be taken out of the title as the food was poor. No bowl of chopped fruit at breakfast. A blackberry and apple crumble was a layer of thick pastry with a thin smear of fruit, scarcely visible topped with a very solid thick layer of crumble - inedible. Parking good and the staff were pleasant and helpful

Room was clean and nice, however it was very warm albeit they did put a small fan in the room. very hard to get in contact with though as rang them 17 times before they answered the phone.

Fantastic hotel very close to Gerrards Cross train station (especially for Wembley). Our room was spacious and clean. Staff were really helpful. We just had a couple of little issues (we should have spoken to the hotel about these whilst we were there and we didn't, so they could potentially have been resolved). Firstly, the room we were in was super hot. There was no air conditioning. There was a fan in the room but even with it on full for most of the night we still both had a very uncomfortable night. Secondly the cooked breakfast although tasty was just a bit on the cold side. Again, I'm sure both of these issues would have been resolved if we had spoken to the staff, and I would still stay here again in a heartbeat.

Family room was a good size and beds were comfortable , no air-condition in room so they were very hot at night Location is great for the Chiltern railway into London ,5 minutes walk

*NO AIR CON OR FRIDGES IN ROOMS* Can’t fault the staff, rooms, decor, food or atmosphere. We’ve stayed a few times in the past and love it however, we visited during one of the heat waves this year. We remembered there being Air Con on previous visits, however upon double checking, we were told that air con in rooms was removed during the recent renovation and by this time, it was too late for us to cancel. Unfortunately, this resulted in one of the most uncomfortable nights we’ve had in a hotel due to the heat, we were provided with one fan, and brought more of our own, these did not help at all and the room felt to be around 40 degrees through the night. Reception couldn’t help until the next day and we were so thankful to be moved to a room downstairs for the remaining days, but it remained uncomfortably hot throughout our stay. We would not stay again during summer due to the lack of air con. No fridge either which didn’t help! Hate to leave a negative comment but it really affected our stay!

Hotel was lovely staff was really helpful both in the hotel and bar. Bedroom was lovely and thankyou for putting fans in the room for us. There was a hair on the bathroom floor and one of the taps moved when turned on, if in shower to long it would over flow

On the whole OK, organisation at breakfast was a bit hit and miss - more staff required.

Family room was spacious and well-placed on the ground floor. The staff were brilliant, but there nowhere near enough of them; both at breakfast and dinner there were far too many lengthy delays waiting for breakfast buffet to be restocked, tables to be cleared, orders to be taken, etc.
