The rooftop pool is absolutely worth it — stunning views over Ipanema make it one of Rio’s best hotel experiences. The staff were also consistently friendly, attentive, and a genuine pleasure to deal with throughout the stay.
The Not-So-Good:
The rooms are quite small for the price — not what you’d expect from a luxury property. The breakfast buffet was also underwhelming, with a limited selection that doesn’t match the hotel’s reputation.
Would I recommend it?
Yes, with caveats. If you’re coming for the atmosphere, the pool, and the location, Fasano delivers. Just don’t expect a spacious room or an impressive breakfast spread.
