This hotel was excellent. Staff was super helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The room was clean, neat, and had everything we needed after long days of exploring Kyoto. The location too couldn’t be any better. It is close enough to all the places you’d like to visit that’s a walking distance away, while being placed in a quieter neighborhood where you feel part of the community. Will definitely want to come back here!

This is a wonderful boutique hotel on a quiet street in Kyoto. It is a great place to stay to feel less like a tourist since the crowds are far away. Plenty of small restaurants and bars nearby and a bakery that is very popular (and good) nearby. The staff were very helpful and attentive. You can walk to transportation in 5-10 minutes.

Our accommodations were spacious and very clean. The service was exceptional. The location was nice; in close proximity to train stations, shopping, and dining. We opted for daily breakfast, which was delivered to our room and was quite delicious. I highly recommend this hotel!

Small 12 room hotel located in a nice quiet area but still close and walkable to many of the touristy areas. Beautiful room and the shower/bath was truly a spa like experience. Bed was very nice as well. Get the Japanese breakfast served in your room at least once. It was a memorable meal.
