Gentleman at check in was very lovely and that's where the positives ended. Once shown to the room first thing noticeable was the smell of dampness and smoke. Second thing and the biggest overall let down was the photos of this room type showed a separate reasonable sized bathroom off the kitchen, instead the room we were given had a small ensuite off the bedroom not even big enough to get dressed in. Teen daughter was with us and this ensuite situation just meant there wasn't a reasonable amount of privacy which was expected based on the photos shown and made the whole stay awkward. There was a used plaster in the ensuite bin and the toilet roll holder was covered in dust. The shower was either scolding hot or freezing cold and the metal shower tray would ping and make a horrendous noise whenever you moved your feet. There was a chunk of hair left under the couch. The milk provided for coffee was in a little jug covered in glad wrap, no date or anything which seemed hardly hygienic. The welcome mat had cigarette butts in it and there were also cigarette butts outside the bedroom windows. The place gave the vibe that it is used for emergency housing. I booked here based on the photos advertised and the exceptional reviews but was sorely disappointed. If I had seen the room before paying I would have refused to stay. I would not stay here again.

I had a one night stay for a concert and liked the apartment although a little outdated, particularly the shower. It was a good option for the price. $12 Uber into CBD or could walk. Some good bars close by. Free parking. I would definitely stay again.
