Loved the staff, breakfast and the proximity to the Old Town, from the Gates of Dawn onwards. Informative Yuste was the first ever to pour champagne for us at Check-in. Sandra of the cleaning crew was just Exceptionally kind and attentive. Please thank both for us. Thank you!

The hotel is located in Old Town, and is very close to the Central Market, Maxima grocery store, bus & train station. My room stay didn't include breakfast but the hot water kettle and refrigerator were just what I wanted to make my own breakfast & meals. I would stay here again.

Nice helpful staff at reception - though note there is no staff available in the hotel from 8 pm until 8 am the next morning, though they can be contacted by phone if necessary. Hotel is clean and tidy, and clearly tries to be quirky boutique style. Bedrooms fairly spacious and nice clean bathroom with large walk in shower. Breakfast is adequate but nothing special. Fairly restricted choice of food and drink - not particularly inspiring. Location is good, about 8 mins walk from railway station (regular trains to the airport, which only take 7 mins) and less than 100 metres walk from The Gates of Dawn - the entrance to the old town - plenty to see, plus many restaurants and cafes.

While the location was good, our room was not. Based on the other reviews, it seems like we got the worst room in the place. We walked in and it smelled like mold/musk with a mix of incense. I don’t know if it was the carpet or what The smell hits you like a truck and we tried to spend as little time possible in there as it made us feel sick. Also there was a loud buzzing that would go off every 60 seconds all day/ all night. Wouldn’t come back here but had no choice but to stay as the marathon was on and everything else was booked up …
