The staff are friendly and willing to help. However, the room has no air conditioning, which is different from what was listed on the booking site. The window can only be opened up a tiny bit, which is unhelpful and made for a very unpleasant summer night.

Lovely stay, great rooms and facilities, excellent breakfast and location super close to town centre. Only thing I found strange was no way to charge your phone with a cable, unless you brought your own plug to fit the cable in (so I had to plug it into the back of the television). And the wall radiator in the bathroom was roasting hot so when I got out the shower I got burnt by it. No way to turn it off and we've had a heat wave in the UK

Air conditioning that does not work in the heat is pointless. Lovely room and hotel spoilt by weak and pointless air conditioning and windows that did not open properly. Response from reception staff was that the air conditioning units couldn’t cope with the heat. Hard to believe. Was singularly unimpressed with the lack of customer service.

Great staff and customer service, rooms nice and clean but air con was not brilliant and the sinks in the room would not put out cold water for more than 5 seconds and kept flowing extremely hot. Apart from that it was a nice stay

There was a loud wedding and my room was over the outside area and by the stairs so the noise of the DJ was over bearing and interrupted sleep. We booked this hotel as a hotel - ie to have a nice room to sleep, which was not possible. The air con was also barely functioning so it was very warm on the room. I would not stay here again for fear of more parties. I am unsure why we were not allocated rooms away from the noise

The room itself was uncomfortably small and made worse by poor design. The room had a wall through it with a long narrow area at one side which was of no practical use except to house all the powerpoints, thus making it impossible to use electrical devices in the main part of the room. Despite the excessive heat the room had not been cooled and we were given a fan which when plugged in would not stretch into the bed area. All in all an uncomfortable stay.
