Peter was really nice to help us and given tips to enjoy to most of Munchen. The breakfast buffet style was also excellent. We had an excellent stay.

Beautiful, historic hotel w/ cute onsite bar / café located right in the heart of Munich. Easy walking distance to just about anywhere (within a 5 min walk to the Rathaus-Glockenspiel); really great central location to explore from. Staff is bilingual (German and English) and very kind/helpful. The lobby is lovely and we really admired the masterful craftsmanship/wood-work in our room; plus the roof top sauna was a delightful added bonus!

We loved the Platzl hotel! This will be our go-to hotel in Munich. The location was wonderful - just a block from Marienplatz, Hofbrau house and walking distance from everything in Old Town. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, and they kindly upgraded our room and even gave us an extra bottle of wine and cakes and wrote us a nice card. The amenities were great - wonderful bathroom and shower. When we needed extra water it was always available in the lobby if you asked for it, or in the spa. We will definitely be back!
