Unfortunately, our stay was a little disappointing. I specifically booked a room with a bathtub, as advertised on the booking listing, but we were given a room without one. When I raised this with the staff, they admitted they didn’t have any rooms matching that specification. They moved us to a room with a better view, but it still overlooked a busy road.
As an apology, they said they would send wine and fruit to our room, but these never arrived.
The hotel also feels a little dated in places, particularly the rooms with their carpeted floors. The swimming pool can get quite loud, although it does have a beautiful view.
On the positive side, the spa is lovely, the hotel is very clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.
