The Marshall House made our trip to Savannah unforgettable. From the moment we walked through the front doors, we felt like we had stepped into another era. The hotel's rich history is beautifully preserved, yet it still offers all the comfort and hospitality you could ask for.
The location simply cannot be beat. We were able to walk almost everywhere in the Historic District, from River Street to Forsyth Park, with countless restaurants, shops, and historic sites just minutes away. It was the perfect home base for exploring Savannah.
The staff was exceptional—warm, welcoming, and genuinely eager to make our stay special. Southern hospitality is alive and well here.
Our room was charming, comfortable, and full of historic character. We especially loved the beautiful architecture, original details, and the famous iron veranda overlooking Broughton Street. Sitting on the balcony with a cup of coffee in the morning and watching the city come to life became one of our favorite memories.
The complimentary breakfast was a wonderful way to start each day, and the evening wine and cheese reception added another special touch that made the hotel feel intimate and inviting.
If you're interested in history, The Marshall House is truly one of Savannah's treasures.

We were stopping in Savannah on our trip up north, so I took the opportunity to stay the night! It was lovely, from the beautiful architecture to the fantastic staff, to the rooms… the entire stay was a delight.

Kamangha-mangha I absolutely love the Marshall house and I will continue to stay there when I’m in Savannah. The staff is extra nice, so special, the breakfast is free and they have so many choices. They also have a lovely wine reception every night in a historic sitting room. Centrally located to all of the things you want to see in Savannah. A former military hospital, It’s part of the historic tours and an exciting place to stay. Much quieter than staying on the riverfront which is a little wild at night.

This place was AMAZING. The staff were wonderful, everything the hotel had to offer from simple games in the library to wine to entertainment to probably the creamiest breakfast quiche I’ve had in ages from their breakfast buffet were, in my personal book, top tier. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Overall, I enjoyed a pleasant 1-day stay. The hotel is centrally located within the historic district. The staff very friendly and accommodating. The evening reception featured a local vocalist who was entertaining.
My only complaint was the breakfast was sub-par, not commensurate with the quality of the hotel or the price I paid for my room.

Very nice historic hotel. They have a wine a cheese get together every night, with a different theme every evening. We had the best time the evening of our second night as they had a local musician on an acoustic guitar who was awesome.
Great hotel, great staff, great city. Great stay.

Great hotel! We enjoyed our stay very much. From breakfast, ( which is amazing!) To the wine socials the staff was amazing at making us feel like we were home! Our room was clean, the balcony was very enjoyable and the claw foot tub was just a polite added bonus! We will be back.
