The was clean, quiet and convenient to the train station. Multiple restaurants in the area, as well as convenient stores that make it nice. I would stay there again.

Every time we are in Sakai visiting our business partners, we stay at Daiwa. It is affordable, friendly service, clean, and right beside Sakaihigashi train station. Would recommend 10/10.

Very affordable and great service. Its very near the sakaihigashi station which has trains going to namba station. The twin bed room was rather large and spacious unlike most japanese hotels.

Expected more from the 4.5 star ratings. Staff are nice and tried to be helpful but unfortunately had limited English. Was surprised that we were given a packet of drip coffee each at check-in instead of them leaving it in the room. Also, it's great that they don't provide bottled water in the room, whether for environmental friendliness or just to save money. Even so, hotels that don't provide bottled water usually will have water dispensers in the corridor or reception area. This hotel does not have water dispensers so you'll have to buy your own bottled water....defeats the purpose of environmental friendliness.
