The hotel was easy to find and, in our opinion, well suituated. What we didn't like about it was that the breakfast was "American style" and luke-warm. It was very quiet and a little strange around the premises. The rooms were fairly clean. One huge positive is that the rooms are huge! Very good to move around.

Mahusay stayed here for 2 nights
pros: hotel has gorgeous rooms- very comfy beds and linens, really nice bathrooms and very clean
rooms are cheap 30 (cad) for a night for a double room which included breakfast
cons: staff are not helpful and don't speak english well and location is poor as its a good 30 min walk to the old city
if you don't mind walking or taking red cabs/ tuktuks worth checking it out

I found the service, quality and value of accomodation excellent. The only problem was my room was next to the lift which kept me a wake for most of the night. I would recommend this hotel as it was luxurious with clear attention given to detail throughout the room.

Mahusay In contrast to the lackluster neighborhood, the hotel offers an art gallery bonus - paintings, sculptures, woodcrafts. Not recommended for those using public transportation, but if you drive, its a great option with beautiful art to boot.
