Other than being located outside the city center ( 1-2 min drive by scooter or tuk tuk ), Chiang phueak is the next best spot IMO. Safe, shopping, quiet, and clean. Still in the walking streets and markets which line the whole city. This hotel feels upscale, is extremely clean, well run, very affordable, and has beautiful day/night views of the golden shrine of Doi Sethup right off every balcony. Private, gated and manned under building parking with elevator. One of the best.

Overall rooms are clean and spacious with good breakfast choices. The only downside is that this hotel is located away from downtown and also needs time to find for the first time as it is in the middle of a small street. However, I recommend this hotel for those with own car or leased van.
