Unfortunately our room wasn’t as clean as I would expect for the $407 a night price. The lighting was average to say the least. Bedside light was loose and the lighting around the mirrors was less than ideal for getting your makeup on. Also there was foundation smeared over our bathroom switches which meant the cleaning staff need a rev up for.

Solo stay

I loved this place! Staff was super helpful, the room was wonderful, they had newspapers to read! They connected with me over Whatsapp, knowing I was visiting from the US, and answered all my questions. I will definitely stay here again.

Overall a pleasant stay, a couple of things needed fixing in the room (not caused by us), I informed staff upon check out. All staff we encountered were all very helpful, polite and smiled readily which made our stay more pleasant. Just one niggle - we felt for the price of the room the king bed mattress type was inferior, it was a cheap spring mattress we experienced partner disturbance throughout the night so not ideal. To match the smartness of the amenities, and decor down below in the bar and restaurant, the Crowne Plaza really should look at upgrading the mattresses to pocket spring for a more comfortable nights sleep.
