My family and I recently stayed at this resort, and unfortunately our experience was extremely disappointing.
When we first entered our room, there was a strong urine odor throughout the entire room. We immediately reported it to the front desk, and while housekeeping confirmed there was a problem, it took nearly two hours before we were finally moved to another room. After traveling all day with our family, we were exhausted, and spending two hours waiting for a clean room meant we had no opportunity to enjoy our first evening at the resort.
The next morning, things only got worse. We noticed small stains on the bed sheets, and after pulling back the comforter, I found stains throughout the bedding. It was very disturbing to realize that my family had slept in a bed that was clearly not clean. There was no way of knowing what the stains were, but the bedding should have been thoroughly cleaned or replaced before any guest checked in.
The hotel did provide a $100 voucher after moving us to the second room, and while I appreciate the gesture, it did not make up for being assigned an unsanitary room, the lengthy wait to resolve the issue, and then discovering unclean bedding in the replacement room. I wasn't looking for a voucher—I simply expected a clean, sanitary room, which is the minimum every guest should be able to expect.
Overall, this experience fell well below the standard of cleanliness and service I expected from this resort.
