We stayed at the Novotel Danang Premier Han River for one night, and the highlight of our stay was watching the fireworks from the rooftop Sky36 bar. We’re from Vancouver, so experiencing something like that was incredibly special and honestly one of the coolest parts of our trip. Staying at the hotel made it so convenient to enjoy the show without having to deal with the crowds. The room was clean, comfortable, and the shower pressure was excellent. The property itself is a bit dated and could benefit from some renovations. Our shower curtain was noticeably dirty, and when we mentioned it to the staff, they were extremely kind and quick to offer a solution. We ultimately decided not to pursue it since we were only staying one night, but we really appreciated how seriously they took our concern and their willingness to make things right. As a larger hotel, don’t expect the same personalized hospitality you might find at some of Vietnam’s boutique hotels, but the staff were still friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, the rooftop fireworks experience alone made our stay memorable, and the hotel’s location and convenience were major advantages.

Great hotel, Billy was great and very helpful. Only negative was not close to resturants or ATM machine.

Stunning hotel, spectacular staff with a location we throughly enjoyed!

I liked the location and the breakfast buffets. My only issue is how hot the air conditioning is. I had asked for the air conditioner to be adjusted with the front desk staff on the first floor but nothing was done. My sister who stayed in a different room also asked the staff TWICE to help with the cooling in her room but the staff did nothing. Every morning I was waking up in a sweat and it was a terrible start to each day. I would not recommend this hotel due to the staff's ignorance and the controls they had in place to not allow customers to choose their level of comfort for cooling. I had paid extra for the premier services with the lounge (the lounge staff was good) but even with paying a higher fee, the room was so uncomfortable with how hot it was.

My wife and I stay here was fantastic ! The full kitchen in our room was a life saver(because of dietary needs). The breakfast buffet was one of the best ones we had while in Vietnam. The location was within close proximity to restaurants, shops, boat cruises and could see the dragon bridge from our room, which was really cool at night during the weekends. Highly recommend 10/10 !

Fantastic property. Great view of the Han river, clean amenities and good breakfast. I couldn’t ask for more for the very reasonable price for the room and breakfast. I would definitely recommend this property to my close friends and family. Great job, Novotel Da Nang!

Breakfast at level 4, nice food. We were staying at the 2 bedroom apartment, spacious rooms, good view. Will stay again. Staff at check in can speak good English.

I recently stayed at Novotel Danang Premier Han River and overall had a very pleasant experience. The hotel’s location in the city center is very convenient, with many restaurants, cafes, and bars all within walking distance. While it’s not directly on the beach, the coastline is only about a 10–15 minute drive away, making it easy to enjoy both the city and the beach areas. One of the highlights of the property is the rooftop lounge, which has a stylish atmosphere and attracts a lively crowd in the evenings. The views are excellent and the ambiance is definitely worth experiencing, although I found the drinks to be fairly average and somewhat overpriced compared to the many great options elsewhere in Da Nang. The breakfast buffet was truly enormous and offered an impressive variety of choices. Whether you prefer Western breakfast staples, Vietnamese dishes, fresh fruit, pastries, or made-to-order items, there was something for everyone. The breakfast staff in particular stood out for being exceptionally friendly, attentive, and welcoming every morning. The rooms themselves are spacious and comfortable, though they are beginning to show their age in some areas and could benefit from a refresh and more detailed upkeep. Overall, the hotel offers strong value thanks to its central location, excellent staff, and expansive amenities. I would happily stay again, especially for travelers looking to be in the heart of Da Nang rather than directly on the beach.

The best stay for the value. My first time staying and I was very impressed with the staff, the room, basically everything. Definitely going back and staying again.
