Meh but not great in all categories. The part that kicks it down to a 2 star was the expensive parking, and then the parking machine was a pain and trapped us in the parking lot until we could run in and get a new validated ticket to put in it. It would basically try to not let us out until we paid for parking, but we had already paid at the desk for the full duration. The staff weren't very helpful with a solution to this and we were almost late to a couple obligations. If I went again, I wouldn't stay in Waikiki at all - it was like one large dirty shopping center. The middle and north side of the island was much more the vibe we wanted for the vacation.

We had a great experience during our stay. All of the staff were friendly, polite, and helpful, from the restaurant and lobby staff to the bellboys, housekeeping, and the staff at the towel station. Everyone was very welcoming. I also really liked the location because it was close to the beach, restaurants, and souvenir shops, making it easy to get around. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

I traveled with my daughter. The room was clean and spacious. Had a great view of the ocean. Enjoyed the pool on our first day there. I opted to have the everyday breakfast buffet, which was a great help. We also got a free night for booking a long stay. Staff was friendly. Close proximity to the beach as well as stores and restaurants. As other reviewers may have noted, the property is dated. But if modernity and aesthetics don’t rank too high for you, this is actually a great place to stay. An enjoyable trip in practical lodging.
