I'd stay again. Beautiful hotel on beautiful grounds. Food was good and the sauna on the water is so cool. Nice indoor and outdoor pool!!!

Check-in and the reception service were fine. The breakfast in the morning was great. The room, however, reeked of smoke and was really dated. I’m not sure how they justify €200 per night. The location is lovely and great for a restful break. We stopped off for a day off on a trip around Germany as we knew it would be hot. We wanted to use the leisure facilities, which cost an extra €11 each per day. Not sure why they’re charging guests this. The leisure facilities are really poorly run. The food and drink there is awfully overpriced and limited. Eg. The only soft drink they had available was Coke. No other options. We ordered at the bar and it arrived about 20 minutes later at our loungers by the pool. Then the sauna etc. One positive here, the steam room was great. However, they don’t turn the sauna on until someone wants to use it. We were told it takes 20 mins to heat up so we came back 20 mins later and sat chatting to a guy in the COLD sauna for about 15 mins. It was still completely cold as the sauna is huge. No way it could heat up in 20 mins. Overall, this place has huge potential and is situated by a lovely lake. However, it seems to be poorly managed and represents poor value for money for its guests.

Beautiful property, the setting on the lake and so far off the beaten path was very peaceful. For me, after two weeks of busy travel, it was the relaxation I needed.

Location and service made à huge difference to an otherwise, nice hotel

This is a phenomenal place to stay. Swim in the lake after having a sauna on a boat in a very quiet area that is lush with fine flora and lovely people. The building is very well maintained and breakfast is particularly excellent. Very helpful and professional staff and very comfortable. Highly recommended !!

My wife and I visited this hotel and stayed over at the pool and spa all day. The hotel is fantastic and the city is also an amazing place to visit. We loved it!

This is a nice place if you have a car or if you don't want to leave the hotel. The breakfast is ok but the restaurant doesn't offer much of a selection for dinner. Staff tried to charge me for a second room which I did not book then threatened to call the police when I refused to pay for the room that I didn't use. There are many other hotels in the city centre.

The Hotel is really nice and I highly recommend it. The view on the terrace is especially stunning.

We stayed for three nights. Good room with balcony overlooking the river/lake. Plenty of free parking with garage available at additional cost. Hotel is clearly popular for conferences and business meetings. Location is at the end of the Insel and very peaceful. Hotel restaurant is good with choice of regional and some 'cheffy' creations. Although a little way out from Potsdam centre, there is a nearby bus service and water taxi which is a little infrequent. Berlin is an easy day trip by train and the Palaces are accessible by tours and buses from the town centre. Recommended as an alternative to staying in central Berlin and travelling by car.
