Lovely hotel with a good size room. Helpful and pleasant staff and the food was excellent - especially the selection of curries ! Beautiful location too with great sea views from our window

Room was ok staff where very good think it had gone down a little since my last stop, but I understand that things are not easy as I had noticed 1 or 2 hotels, but lovely people and I do hope the better times will return 😊

I want to start by saying that the staff at this hotel are excellent. The hotel itself is another story. We were originally assigned room 26, and all I can say is if you are given this room, ask for another. I should point out that I do have mobility issues, and certainly this made the problem worse, however the floors are so uneven in this room that it was almost impossible for me to walk without tripping. There is a huge dip in the floor in front of the sink, and a really awkward step to get out of the shower. There is a small sitting area when you walk in, but then an additional flight of stairs to get to the bedrooms. The 'decor' of this room felt like something out of a horror movie, but that is another story entirely. To the credit of the staff, when I asked to be moved for our second night, they were very accommodating and offered us another room with 'nice flat floors'. That room was 100 times better, and had been renovated, but still nothing special. I only saw these 2 rooms, so can not comment on any others, but I feel, especially room 26 should not be rented out until it has been renovated. Overall, I feel this hotel was very overpriced for what we got. I do feel bad leaving this review because, as I said, the staff are excellent, but we booked based on the positive reviews of other travellers, and I just did not have the same experience. We stayed in several hotels on our holiday, and unfortunately this was the worst one. I can not recommend this hotel.

Amazing location and great food.

We had a brilliant v capacious suite with large lounge/ kitchen area and newly fitted bathroom with excellent shower. We enjoyed two delicious curry evening meals and fantastic freshly cooked breakfasts, thank you to James the manager who made us so welcome.

Great hotel, spacious suite. Clean and looked after. The suite gave added bonus of extra space and kitchen facilities. Beautiful views across the bay. On-site parking and bar / restaurant. Plentiful breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. Does have stairs to the rooms, perhaps not ideal if have mobility issues but all round a great hotel for location and price. Highly recommend

The hotel had apparently been recently refurbished so some things were reasonably needed, like the windows and the kitchen in our "suite" had been painted.
