The staff that welcomed us at the door were all very friendly. The room, although a bit dated, was clean and comfortable. I wish we stayed longer to use more of the amenities of the room like the microwave, fridge and range. Although they did not offer breakfast, the staff recommended a diner connected to but not affiliated with, the hotel. We were not disappointed. It was a rainy day and the hotel offered umbrellas. Even after checking out, they held our bags for us, as we explored the surrounding area a bit more. We would stay again and recommend it to anyone.

The hotel is in a great location on the Upper Westside. The bathroom is dated. The kitchenette needs a facelift. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The room was clean quiet and had an efficiency for cooking. Small stove top, microwave, refrigerator and sink It had a wonderful bed and nice tv. Stayed 4 nights and loved it

Comfortable and clean, upgraded to suite which was appreciated! Great neighborhood, easy access into Central Park and Fairway market across the street. Was there with family decades ago, just as nice this time with sister!

Hotel Beacon is the place we want to be when we are in New York City. The location,staff, amenities, quiet and clean rooms, are all reasons we want to stay here. There are discounts throughout the year so it can be an economical choice as well.

We encountered several cockroaches in the room, including one that crawled over my head during the night. The blankets were quite thin. And in the shower it took a very long time for the water to get hot. On the plus side, the staff were very friendly and helpful. When we arrived the front desk helped us to sort out our parking situation in a very hands-on and helpful way.
