The plantings around the parking lot made the property very appealing. Loved that we could sit outside our 1st floor room behind bamboo plants.The woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful about places we wanted to go. Everyone on the staff we had contact with also friendly. The hotel is well located- you can walk to two team stops. One - the city college stop also has an express bus to Balboa Park.

The room with the king bed and the walk-in shower had only one problem. The shower water never got hot even after running for 5 minutes, however the sink was working fine, had to clean myself with a wash cloth at the sink

Room was clean but bit outdated. The area was not the best but staff was great and they provided a good hot buffet breakfast. Make note that this is a motel and there are no elevators to 2nd floor.
