Hotel staff were exceptional; very friendly. The breakfast buffet was very good. Nice river view. However, the hotel itself is in need of updating. Room vents smell like smoke despite the hotel being a no smoking property. The two restaurants, one bar and room service share the same limited menu. Hotel location is fairly isolated and is not particularly walkable though Grab is an inexpensive transportation option. Overall we would not book here again.

The staff are so friendly. The hotel is a little dated but very nice and the beds are really cosy. There is a mall directly next door and also the Pier to board the river cruise boats are directly next door also.We really enjoyed our stay at Montien ❤️

Wonderful hotel, just showing its age in parts. Staff very friendly. Hopefully Marriott will improve it going forward. Would be happy to stay here again.

Room was clean, staff were attentive and professional. Great location next to Pier 21 shopping mall. Great sunrise and sunset view from our room.
