Solo stay

Delux DOUBLE room: terrible lighting, safe inaccessible, bathroom supplied with only one hand towel, no towelling bath-mat, no shower cap, nil else. MINIMAL hospitality tray. Dismal. The “view” was a glimpse past neighbouring buidings. Never again.

Poor check in experience. Went to room and clearly it wasn’t ready. No water in the room and the cleaner just walked in without knocking to give us towels. As for the morning… well the hoover was going in the corridor at 7.30 and then the concierge service was knocking loudly on the door to wake someone (they have phones in the room). The queue for getting into breakfast takes ages… standing for 20 mins? Madness Normally a solid hotel but hard to justify returning

We had a rental car and booked the on site valet parking to make the experience more convenient. A bit $$ but was very smooth. The doorman with top hat was super helpful unloading and helping us get our luggage to our room. This kind gentleman gave us suggestions for food and local experiences in the area. Kudos to him! He was very helpful!

Solo stay

Great location convenient to both city center and train station. Rooftop bar is a wonderful way to wind down the day. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Husband was charged £25.08 for one glass of wine and one pint of Guinness. Shocking and has made my mind up about staying here again

From the moment we stepped into reception we were impressed by the grandeur of the hotel. We were welcomed by the Concierge and directed to Reception where we were assisted by a lovely Irish young lady. From start to finish all the staff made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. Our room was luxurious and immaculate, serviced daily. Breakfasts were delicious. We ate in the restaurant in the evening which offered a variety of delights. The bars were beautifully appointed and the Observatory a must see. We can't wait to visit again.
