Pool heater was out but other than that was great!

We have stayed at TownPlace Suites before and loved it. This one however was disappointing. The outdoor pool was not open yet and the story behind why is hadn't changed each day depending on who was working. Their solution was to go to the next door hotel (same owner) and use their loud indoor pool and hot tub. We were there for 5 days and it finally was finally open the night before we left and then it was raining. None of the exercise equipment worked (2 treadmills, 1 elliptical and 1 bike) and again their solution was to use the workout room in the adjacent hotel. The air conditioner in that exercise room did not keep it cool and was more like a sauna. The outdoor key fob at one end of the building did not work so the only way to get to our room at the very end of the hotel was go through main doors. Wifi was hit or miss, which made working remote a challenge. The sink in the kitchen leaked so maintenance had to come repair that. Both windows were broken so you could not open either one of them. They could certainly do a better job at maintaining this property. Breakfast was pretty good. Staff was polite. Several restaurants and shopping close by. The kitchen was stocked well with amenities.

The musty smell as you walk through the front door is pretty intense. Staff were friendly. But the room/bathroom could definitely use some updates. The floor trim in the bathroom is definitely wrotten and has just been painted over a few times, that's probably the smell... The couch cushions could use a cleaning too. Do not plan to stay here again.

Worn out and overpriced. Just because it has 2 bedrooms and a kitchen, it does not constitute $290 for one night. The furniture was so stained we didn’t want to sit on it. The stove had useless burners (coils didn’t lay flat), glassware had a sticky residue. We didn’t need the stove, so not a huge deal, just more for information. Beds and bathroom were clean. Check-in process was clunky. We arrived at 2:45, and they stuck to a strict 3:00 check-in. Shift change at 3:00 resulted in no communication to the oncoming staff that we were there to check in. Not a typical Marriott experience, to say the least.

Fresh and clean

Everything was great. Staff are super accommodating and helpful and friendly. Breakfast was decent. Coffee was great. Kitchen had most supplies we needed.

Over all it was a good stay. Plenty of room. We needed to book a second night and the service staff did not get the update so they knocked on the door even thought the do not disturb was out. Also the housekeepers were enjoying themselves and it sounded like a party until they dispersed to separate rooms

Car broken in to.

My room was clean but ran down. It was especially noticeable in the bathroom. The paint is slapped on and you can see where they got sloppy where the wall meets the ceiling. The shower head had calcium buildup. The doors looked rough. I interacting with 4 or 5 staff. One was over the phone on March 6. I was calling about a reservation and she kept cutting me off telling me to contact Expedia and when I tried explaining things she would cut me off and tell me she hasn’t heard of what I am talking about and to just contact Expedia. I understand if she couldn’t handle what I needed but it pissed me off getting cut off and brushed off. The man that checked me in was kind. In the middle of the night, I called about the shuttle and a late checkout as well as purchased some snacks. The lady night auditor was friendly. In the morning I asked the front desk lady (who may have been the unpleasant woman from the day before, I am unsure) if I could swap out my soda since I grabbed an expired one. She said it was fine and apologized. The man who drove the shuttle was very helpful and I felt safe with him driving. Although some staff was great, I would not stay here again.

The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very nice. The only issue was a non working elevator in the building I was in. This was not a dealbreaker.
