Did not like the smell of the rooms or the smell of the common areas. They’d even to use a strong fragrance everywhere that feels too harsh on my nose and lungs.

Room just about okay. Major problems with food. Breakfast was a nightmare, unable to get eggs or tea/coffee. Complained to supervisor but he did nothing. All four mornings I attempted to take breakfast it was the same. Lunch and dinner same problems. Spoke to management no help. They were so happy with there food that they made a booking to have dinner in Cinnamon Grand

I had an amazing stay at Amari Sri Lanka and couldn't have been happier with my experience. The hotel is in a fantastic location with breathtaking views from the room, making every morning and evening truly special. A special thank you to Vinula, who was incredibly helpful in arranging my rooms and ensuring everything was perfectly organized for my meeting. Their professionalism and attention to detail made my stay completely stress-free. The entire staff were warm, friendly, and always willing to help with a smile. Their excellent service really stood out and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Amari Sri Lanka and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay, outstanding service, and beautiful surroundings. I look forward to returning in the future!

frastructure Failure and Shady Billing TacticsDo not let the sleek photos fool you; this property suffers from catastrophic systemic infrastructure defects, safety hazards, and highly deceptive management practices.We arrived at this property for a pre-paid multi-night family vacation booked for 3 adults. Our nightmare began at check-in: despite arriving hours after the standard time, our room wasn't ready. When we finally got inside, a lone housekeeper was still frantically rolling in and making up our third bed. Worse, the room had multiple major defects: during a shower, the overhead shower cap fixture completely detached from the ceiling and fell directly onto my head. The shower head itself was unsecured, the enclosure sealing was completely broken (flooding the entire bathroom floor into a slick slip-and-fall hazard), and the toilet mechanism was leaking and constantly jamming.We were forced to pack up and move to a second room. The infrastructure collapse here was even worse: while my elderly mother was actively showering, the main shower tap assembly snapped completely off the wall plumbing in her hands. The loud sound of cascading water behind the walls indicated massive internal structural flooding.We had to pack up and move a second time (our 3rd room total) into a suite provided as "compensation." Even this premium tier was plagued with flaws: the toilet flush immediately jammed and required engineering maintenance to dismantle it. The heavy glass toilet door was

Their service was excellent. They were super helpful. I wanted to check-out early the next morning, so I went to the reception that night and informed them to do a quick process for the check-out. They were not only very helpful regarding the check-out process but also this gentleman at the lobby packed my breakfast just because I would not be there to have breakfast. The next morning they gave me a big box of breakfast with everything I like. Honestly the best and very caring place I have ever been. Hospitality at it's best! Will definitely recommend to others.
