Everything was amazing. The people were always helpful and polite. It is a little noisy in the lower rooms with the street noise being constant. Not sure we will ever visit New York again but if we do, this is the place for us.

The hotel was in an excellent location with subways near by taking you all around Manhattan. Brooklyn bridge was a 10 minute walk and the 9/11 memorial , Wall Street was a 5 minute walk.This was my second visit to New York and found this hotel and location far better than staying in Times Square.

Came for the Knicks parade. Location couldn’t have been more perfect. Rooms are small - literally 2 steps from the front door and it’s the bed. Bedding and pillows felt very nice and comfortable. I don’t agree with the added $16 at the end to cover the resort fee aka 2 Fuji water bottles, 1 Poland spring water bottle, 2 bags of chips and 4 cookies.. that could have just been included in the fee for the room. Has a roof top bar.. but hours were limited. Couldn’t find room service menu.

Solo stay

The room was meh. Small. Expected more for the price point. I heard footsteps and noises from other rooms all night long. Also - small but their iron sucked.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Great location close to the WTC and battery park. Lots of nice restaurants round about. Hotel was immaculate. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Gym was basic, some of the equipment could use an upgrade. Although we were aware of the NYC city tax we weren’t aware that on top of that we had to pay a daily service charge for housekeeping etc. we assumed that was in the price of the hotel considering it was more expensive than other hotels of a similar star rating. Overall though it was a lovely hotel.
