I was looking for a hotel that was uniquely French and not a corporate American chain.i got a bit more than I planned for! It’s a cozy, unique place with a lot of charm and character. It has a great location near several metro stations that makes traveling around the city very easy. We stayed on the top floor which had roof slants on the sides of the window. At 6’4 I found this limiting and my 5’6 girlfriend hit head on them twice. Whether you like these or not is up to you. The room was also very quiet and we rarely heard anything from outside of it. We were there during a freak heatwave and the A/C barely helped. The front desk only ever has 1 employee and if he’s occupied by another guest you have to wait. I had an issue with the door lock and had to ask 4 times before he’d actually help. I also have to mention the elevator. It is tiny! It can barely fit two people and is a nightmare to transport luggage in. One woman sent her bags down on their own and ran down the stairs to retrieve them. Overall, I’d give it 7 out of 10. It’s got a great location, is clean, and has a lot of character. But that character comes with some challenges.

Room was not ready for check in after we had we to the counter 4 hours prior. We sat in the lobby waiting and it still wasn’t ready. The room is much smaller than it looks online. Very limited amenities. The cleaning products linger in the room for days. But it’s as clean as it can be. The staff is ok with the exception of one person. The breakfast area is great. Shops are near by and easy walking distance. As of April they increased their prices so wouldn’t be worth paying their new prices when there’s other nicer places in the area for the same price.

Location is impeccable with metro and bus stations close by. Next door is a pret-a-manger, a pharmacy and a supermarket. Everything is clean and our queen room was a good size. The staff are the highlight of the property though, especially Naema who is the sweetest and most diligent problem solver. She made our stay extra special. Also special thanks to Fredric who made an early check in possible. Round the clock free coffee is available and they even set out some croissants and cakes while we waited for our room in the reception. This was such a wonderful stay and will def be coming back soon.

Staff, location, breakfast, large room. All were appreciated and pleasing. Also, the quietness despite being in the heart of the city.

The room was spacious for a Hotel in Paris. I was happy there was a bath tub. I felt the room was prepared with care to provide comfort. Found everything I needed where I wanted, small things like electric outlet,, tissue box, lights,, poubelles etc. Small things but it’s not always the case.
