Kamangha-mangha It was a neat building. It has everything we needed. Keep in mind, our side was facing the lake, and we got woken up a lot by the train horn.

While the hotel's size and cleanliness were suitable for solo travelers, and it provided essential amenities for an individual, several issues detracted from the overall experience. Firstly, the limited availability of luggage carriers, with only one provided, resulted in significant wait times for guests. Secondly, the parking situation was problematic; guests were not informed that only valet parking was available on-site, and self-parking required walking two blocks from the hotel. Thirdly, a request for additional washcloths was met with the provision of dish towels, which was unsatisfactory. Fourthly, the absence of televisions in the bedrooms meant that only one television was available for shared use, which is inconvenient for groups. Finally, the staff's demeanor was not consistently friendly, contributing to a less than impressive stay.

I am not that familiar with Chicago, but knew I didn’t want to be in the center of the convention crowds. I researched hotels and public transportation & decided Sentral Michigan might work for a reasonable price. Turns out - it was perfect!
It is an apartment building that rents out the unoccupied apartments. So you have a lot more space than a hotel. You can cook meals, take advantage of the facility amenities & it is perfectly located!
Public transportation from Chicago Midway was easy and only required a few blocks walk. The buses were on the same block as the hotel. (And if you have never tried the Chicago bus system, I believe you will love it), Millennial Park across the street and views of the Lake!
We were able to have the front desk hold our luggage before check-in and after checkout. The staff was so pleasant to work with- even provided me with a much needed band-aid!!
I would definitely book again on future trips to Chicago!

Magandang Staff and location were great! Only issues we had really were cleanliness. The bed cover had a blood stain on it and the floors were dirty. Otherwise, wonderful stay- the host was willing to assist and quick to respond.

Amazing hotel and the best area to stay if heading to Soldier Field, Northerly Island, Grant Park, or the museum campus. The two bedroom corner apartment was clean and perfect for our crew. There was a small glitch with checking in, but the manager made it right. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This is really nice accommodations. I would say that it’s not especially conducive to tourists as it’s more of a condo situation. No maid service during the stay, one complimentary set of towels and coffee, then you’re on your own. Asked for towels and coffee. Got 4 towels (no hand towels or washcloths) thrown on a chair and 4 k-cups of decaf coffee left on a counter far away from the coffee maker. Seems like little things until you realize there are few places for reasonable markets. Very little help in the way of directions and there are no maps or brochures for what is available for a tourist. Yes, there is the internet but even that was spotty in the building. Overall, I would not likely stay here again due to distance to many areas of interest.
