We stayed overnight at Birches Motel as we had an early international flight out the next morning. The motel is in the middle of Reno’s and upgrading the rooms but we found our room to be perfect! Clean and comfortable which was just what we needed. Would happily stay there again! The shuttle picked us up at the airport which was great. No shuttle in the morning as we left at 5am but that was fine. Overall great overnight stay😊

It’s very clean and very convenient for the airport but also very basic. We stayed twice, once on the way in and again on the way back. The room on the first visit was much better than the second visit. The staff are lovely.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze. The room was clean, and perfect for a couple staying for a couple of nights. Highly, highly, highly recommended.

Very easy place to stay one night before heading off in a hire car to drive around South Island. Only 6 minute drive from the airport. Clear instructions how to get in to our room at night when staff had left. Everything clean and welcoming, private and quiet. Perfect for what we needed after a long day of travel.
