Today's tour guide was Kong, and we were very satisfied with the itinerary. Guide Kong shared a lot of knowledge and cultural stories about Kumamoto, carefully introducing local specialties, recommended foods, and souvenirs at every destination, which saved us a lot of time searching on our own. During the tour, he also pointed out the best photo spots. The overall itinerary was arranged very reasonably—not too rushed, yet with plenty of time for photos—and he specifically warned us about tourist traps and unnecessary expenses. A special thanks to our driver, Mr. Ueda, for the smooth driving. He even intentionally slowed down when passing scenic views so we could take pictures, spoke with an extremely gentle voice, and kept the vehicle clean and comfortable. Highly recommend choosing this tour when visiting Kyushu!

one of the best tours I have ever been to! the tour goes to all of the must see spots in Miyazaki! the Gorge was absolutely beautiful! i also really loved the Aso Grass land. it was very foggy which created a ghibli vibe right out of the Howls Moving Castle movie. our guide was absolutely amazing! she pointed us to all of the best spots and photo opportunities. the tour ended with the opportunity to try horse meat at an absolutely delicious shop- and local secret.

it’s a very good experience and easy to get into the place with lots of fun knowledge. the tour guide arranged the timing well and didn’t waste any of the time waiting anything. so I will highly recommend to join the tour if you don’t want to drive yourself from other places.

Ang tanging ikinalulungkot ko ay noong panahong iyon, dahil sa lindol o kung ano pa man, sarado ang buong lugar ng nagpapalutang na noodles kaya hindi kami nakakain doon. The overall experience of this trip was fantastic! Tour guide Fan is extremely fluent in Chinese, Japanese, and English, so communication was a breeze. Furthermore, he is very kind and attentively cared for every traveler along the way. The itinerary was well-organized, the introductions to each attraction were very detailed, and departure times were always announced in advance, allowing everyone to follow the schedule with peace of mind. The driver was also very dedicated, making the entire bus ride comfortable. All the sights this time were beautiful, and I especially loved Takachiho Gorge. The natural scenery, shrines, and outdoor activities along the way were truly relaxing, and the lunch was delicious as well. The overall pace did not feel rushed at all, making it a very comfortable journey. If you join this kind of outdoor tour, since there are quite a few sections that require walking, I recommend wearing a good pair of comfortable walking shoes to make it much easier! I highly recommend this experience to anyone who loves natural scenery and shrines.

I had booked this tour led by guide Nana, but since I was staying overnight in Kumamoto that evening, I realized right before departure that it didn't quite fit my schedule. Guide Nana immediately helped me switch to a more suitable tour led by guide Zhou. It poured rain on the day of the tour, but guide Zhou thoughtfully looked after all the team members the entire way. She was enthusiastic and cheerful, bringing laughter wherever we went. When an American joined the group as we left Kumamoto Castle, guide Zhou took turns explaining everything in both Chinese and English all the way. Listening to her native-sounding English introduction was also a treat. Finally, when we were about to leave, guide Zhou asked the driver to drop us off right at the station entrance so we wouldn't get soaked in the rain while pulling our luggage. In short, I am very grateful to the two enthusiastic guides I met this time. Even though it was a rainy day, my heart was filled with sunshine the whole way.

Due to the earthquake in the Kyushu region, we changed the tour to Miyazaki for safety reasons. I am Korean, and the guide was fluent in English, Japanese, and Chinese, so if you know a little of any of those three languages, you'll have a comfortable trip. Also, it seems like the guides are assigned randomly, but the guide I had was very kind! Oh, and since you'll be walking quite a bit, I recommend wearing comfortable shoes. For dining, it's a good idea to research restaurants in advance or consider bringing a packed lunch.
