Firstly, I would like to note how well National Park Express handled my booking and the ease of rescheduling this particular tour for another date. Not only did they give me enough notice before the original tour date to reschedule, but they also were very upfront with the reasoning for the cancellation (another tour company I had booked with did neither). For our Grand Canyon South Rim tour, we were lucky to get April as our tour guide (we had her last Saturday for Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon) again! She was very informative, entertaining & checked on everyone throughout the tour. We got ample time to explore and get pictures at Mather Point and at Bright Angel to do any trails nearby. Also, we didn't do the guided walking tour as we just wanted to roam freely, however, I think it's likely good to do it if you wanted extra commentary on the side. Once again, the lunch provided was very good as well (filling sandwich and it came with a water, a fruit and a cookie).

Very satisfied! The tour guide was very enthusiastic, gave explanations in Chinese, and was easy to communicate with. Plus, we had the same tour guide for two consecutive days. The island hopping tour on the first day and the day tour today were both excellent. The ATV, cable car, and mangrove forest were all great.

Guided bike tour through the rice fields and countryside. We saw a lot and learned about the history of Lankawi through practical examples, and all our questions were answered very well, charmingly and kindly by our expert guide Rodhiah (Rodhiah). Then a short trip to a rocky gorge called (a local recreation area) with the opportunity to swim and a tasting of regional specialties. A successful tour that can be recommended. Ang gagaling ng mga tour guide! Nakakarelaks na paraan para simulan ang pagtuklas sa ganda ng Langkawi. Magandang pagtakas mula sa siyudad kasama ang mga bata lalo na dahil sa Jurassic feels ng sasakyan haha! Ang tanawin sa tuktok ng Gunung Raya ay napakaganda. Mabuti na malapit sa cafe ang meeting point kaya kumain muna kami :D Gayunpaman, umaasa kami na makakita pa ng maraming hayop na gumagala sa gabi sa ikalawang bahagi ng booking na ito.

I came to Koh Lipe from Langkawi on a one-day trip. After disembarking, I waited in a chair until immigration. They call out individual names to return passports. I don't know the waiting time. You just keep waiting until your name is called. Luckily, I was called first, perhaps because I came on a one-day trip. They asked if I had registered for entry into Thailand and told me to come back one hour before the return departure. After the immigration procedure, I paid the 200 THB entry tax, and then I was free to go. For the return procedure, I handed over my passport and the A4 paper issued in Langkawi. After that, I was given my ticket and passport, so I went through the immigration procedure and handed over my passport. Departure was at 16:00 Thai time, and 30 minutes before departure, I boarded a tail boat to move to the ship. Passports were returned on board. Instead of calling out names, they read out the country names and I had to find my passport from the bundle of passports grouped by country. At that time, I had to open other people's passports to make sure it was mine, which felt unpleasant. I was also worried that my passport would be taken, so I was scared. The return trip to Langkawi also took 1.5 hours. As a point of caution, since you are re-entering Malaysia, you must register for Malaysian entry again. Register the date of entry as the day you arrive at the terminal by boat. It is a good idea to register while staying on Koh Lipe or on the return boat. Thailand is one hour behind Malaysia in time difference. Be careful not to mistake the meeting time. The arrival time is 19:00 Malaysian time. After disembarking, there were families everywhere waiting for taxis. Since the location where you call a taxi from isn't somewhere they arrive at quickly, it's best to expect a wait.
