I was very entertained by myself; exploring, reading, and listening to the audio recordings. However, when one of the staff arrived, he was so enthusiastic and well informed that he made it extra interesting and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We learned a lot and had such an enjoyable time doing so. I would definitely recommend!
Love the explanation from tour guide Ms Heng, she's super friendly and youthful. Interesting place to visit and you will definitely gain some knowledge here after visiting, trust me 😉
Surprisingly very interactive gallery. I've dealt with Jaya Mata before as a supplier (bought some knives from them) and since then, I've been curious about the gallery. Spent around 1-2 hours alone in the gallery reading up on the exhibits. The online QR guided tour is helpful, and helped to provide context to the items on display. I did enjoy the variety in how each section could be interacted with. The 3D book area where you could flip the pages of a wooden book & the content of the page would be shown on the big screen infront of you was amazing. The knife making section was fun too, but had to be mindful. I learned alot about knife/sword making, and would recommend others to come and visit this place.
A gallery with complete information abt swords, daggers, keris and other weapons. Downstairs is a place selling their household products and some things we use daily in the kitchen. 1st floor is the museum with guided tour. The guy that brief me is very informative and friendly. Found out that if we purchase the entrance ticket when walk in, they will give a RM5 voucher to purchase their items. It's same price as purchase ticket inside Klook here.
a small but meaningful place packed with a lot of memories. love the design and arrangement of the exhibits. the staff is friendly and helpful.
This is worth taking a walk through. Very informative and interesting facts. We definitely walked away learning a thing or two. We did not expect to have someone taking us on a guided tour. So that was a bonus!
The knife gallery is very informative and has plenty of props for you to take pictures with. The staff at the gallery is very attentive and friendly to show us around and explain the exhibits to us. On the ground floor, they have a variety of knives, kitchen utentsils, etc available for purchase as well.
Very worthy, is cheap but get to see many things, time and money well spent. Get to explore and see different types of antique knives, swords and some historical malaysian culture
