Superbe expérience que je recommande vivement ! Dans une petite salle où des kimonos vous sont prêtes, on apprend rapidement l'origine des caractères japonais avant de passer à la pratique. On apprend la manipulation de l'encre et des pinceaux, puis à apprendre à écrire les mots de son choix et son prénom. Une douzaine de places donc l'enseignant est à l'écoute et disponible. On repart avec ses productions et même un petit cadeau qui en lui même rembourse le prix de la leçon ! Merci pour tout !

What a wonderful, authentic Japanese experience. Ray was extremely knowledgeable and a great teacher. He was patient and took us through the art of calligraphy step by step. I really loved the process of making the ink from the soot and then being able to take home our pieces, even if they were a little amateur. The environment was relaxed and comfortable and everyone had a great time. I would highly recommend this wonderful experience, particularly for the price. Thank you for a wonderful morning Ray.

Amazing activity ! The instructor was very kind, attentive and perfectly fluent in English. The material as well as the decor were very immersive.

Ray was fantastic. Made us feel like we were actually proficient at calligraphy. He even wrote our names for us as a keepsake as well as those of some of our relatives for gifts. I'd highly recommend his class to anyone looking for an authentic Japan experience.

Rei was a great teacher and the Kimono was very nice to protect our clothes from the ink. He was a great communicator and helpful for my first time taking a traditional calligraphy class. This was a very fun time and there are great options for souvenirs! A good time for solo or group parties!
