Historical Tour sa Forbidden City at Templo ng Langit

me and my family had a really good time during this trip, Guide Yu (we call him David) was very attentive, and he made sure that all of us are taken care of. He is also very knowledgeable in the history of China, he gave a very good description on the story and it was easy to understand for my 7years old daughter. thank you Guide Yu for this Amazing Beijing experience and we will be back again!

Napakagandang tour! Ito ang perpektong paraan upang makita ang dalawa sa pinakamalaking palatandaan ng Beijing sa isang lakaran. Tamang-tama ang bilis at puno ng impormasyon nang hindi nagmamadali. Ang aming gabay ay may sapat na kaalaman at tinulungan kami sa pagkuha ng tiket at madaling mahanap ang pinakamagandang lugar para sa litrato. David was a fantastic tour guide. Not only was he knowledgeable in the history of those points of interest, he alsonmanaged to relate it to the comtemporay events and issues the world is facing now.

Honest opinion. It's worth booking the tour just to have no hassle reserving tickets and to skip the massive lines, especially at Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. So having said that, you see pretty much all you need to see BUT it is FAST paced and at some point you will blink and lose the guide. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable and was always happy to take pictures but you REALLY need to keep up... NOTE: there is NO dedicated lunch break-you buy "snacks" whilst waiting or walking but not enough time for lunch. You finish around 2:30pm and there are no didi's or trains from the end spot (emperors garden) so it will take either a bus or a walk to the nearest station (it's an easy 2km including walking out of the forbidden city. Another tip... don't be late, the tour will start without you.

We had a great time on this tour and learned a lot about what we saw as well as the culture and the people. It's definitely worth getting this tour because you cannot do this alone and efficiently. David, our guide lead Us seamlessly throughout the day.

We had a memorable trip with David as our guide. He explained the history of the Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven clearly and made the journey very interesting. Although the group was quite large, around 40 people, David managed everything well and ensured the tour ran smoothly. The buildings and views were truly amazing. Just a note for summer visitors: the weather can be very hot and there is limited shade, so it’s best to bring sunscreen, an umbrella, and enough water.

We spent a full day with Danela at the Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven, and we got the most out of the trip, less crowd timing to enhance our tour experience. From start to finish, she shared stories that brought Forbidden City to life. she is also a master at taking pics for us! The knowledge level was staggering but never overwhelming. At the Forbidden City, instead of just listing dates and emperors, she wove stories about hidden symbols on roof animals, the secret lives of palace eunuchs, and how emperors really spent their days. At the Temple of Heaven, they turned the Echo Wall into an interactive science lesson – the kids got to test the acoustics themselves while we learned why ancient emperors came here to pray for harvests. The guide even brought a small echo toy to demonstrate the sound principles before we arrived, so the kids were already hooked. What really sets her apart: patience and knowledge. If you want a deep, engaging, and genuinely fun tour.
