Kyoto: Tradisyonal na Seremonya ng Tsaa na may Matcha at Matatamis sa Gion

Die Teezeremonie hat wirklich sehr Spaß gemacht und es war sehr interessant zu sehen, wie diese Kultur gelebt wird. Lehrer: Unser Tea-Master, Kenta-san, war sehr freundlich und hat uns alle wichtigen Details erklärt - außerdem hat er sich für weitere Fragen die Zeit genommen. Erlebnis: Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war ebenfalls super! Danke für die schöne Erfahrung!

Highly recommend this experience of the tea ceremony! It was very insightful and so inspirational. My family of six has discovered a a new love and admiration for green tea, now we will all be having matcha! Yuko was an amazing teacher, she taught us so much about the history of tea, their ceremonies and how to correctly prepare a matcha. Also, got superb recommendations of where to purchase matcha and temples to visit!

Die Tee-Masterin hat anschaulich und verständlich die spannende Geschichte des Matchas und der Teezeremonie erklärt. Es war sehr angenehm ihr zuzuhören und sie ist aufmerksam auf jede Person eingegangen. Ich kann diese Veranstaltung nur empfehlen! Es ist ein schöner Moment, in dem man runterkommt und sich Zeit nimmt, etwas Neues zu lernen, in Gemeinschaft mit anderen Menschen.

We had a wonderful, intimate tea ceremony with Yuko. Her warm hospitality and gentle guidance made the experience truly special. A beautiful and memorable way to enjoy this tradition—highly recommended!

10/10 na karanasan kasama ang aming tea master na si Mai na nagbigay sa amin ng napakaraming impormasyon sa buong seremonya. Siya rin ay matiyaga at matulungin sa pagtulong sa amin na gumawa ng sarili naming matcha tea. Ang mga matamis na inihanda ay napakasarap din at bumili pa kami ng ilan mula sa tindahan na inirekomenda sa panahon ng seremonya. Hindi kapani-paniwalang karanasan.

Our tea ceremony in Kyoto was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. The setting was peaceful and authentic, and the ceremony gave us a wonderful insight into Japanese culture and the traditions behind matcha. Our tea master, Fumika, was outstanding. She was warm, knowledgeable, and explained every step with patience and passion, making the experience both engaging and memorable. She created a relaxed atmosphere while sharing the history and meaning behind the ceremony. Preparing and enjoying matcha in such a traditional setting was a truly special experience. Amazing experience with such kind sharing of an intimate part of the Japanese culture. The staff made it very clear as to how important these ceremonies are.

The space was carefully thought of and prepared for the tea ceremony. The host was welcoming and the Tea master - Ruo was knowledgeble (12 years as a tea master). She was able to explain history, process, Japanese words and little details about the dessert and etc. It was such a harmonious experience, and it certainly made me appreciate the concept more. I was glad it was done in a small group setting that allowed for w more peaceful experience. They were courteous to remind us we can take pictures but not videos, but the whole ceremony really requires for you to be mindful and present so we didnt take a lot of photos. They allowed us to take photos with Ruo, after. My friend and I truly enjoyed this experience and would not hesitate to book with them again. Thank you to the hosts!
