[Asahiyama Zoo Opening Information]
• Closed: December 30, 2025–January 1, 2026. • If the park is closed, the itinerary will be adjusted to: Biei Instagram-worthy Tree → Blue Pond → Shirahige Falls → Furano Grape Orchard Research Institute. • The time spent at each attraction will be flexibly adjusted according to the weather on the day.
[Special Notes on Penguin Walk]
• Event Time: Expected from December to March of the following year. • Viewing time is approximately 11:00 AM, subject to the park’s announcement on the day. • Cancellation due to weather is normal. Thank you for your understanding.
[Biei Sightseeing Etiquette]
• Please be sure to take pictures while standing on the asphalt road and do not enter farmland. • Protect the labor results of local farmers together.
[Shikisai-no-Oka Snow Activities]
• Optional activities: Alpaca Farm, snowmobile, snow rafting, sledding, snow tubing, etc. • Opening hours: December early to February 9:00–16:00 (closed on 12/31 and 1/1) March 9:00–16:30 • Actual opening depends on the amount of snowfall in the season.
[Crowd and Registration Requirements]
• Those over 70 years old must be accompanied by family members. • Children aged 0–2 can be held without occupying a seat (fee of 2,000 yen), which must be stated in advance. • The price is the same as for adults for children over 2 years old. • Please be sure to note the number of luggage items, otherwise you will need to store them in advance.

• If you are prone to motion sickness, please prepare medication in advance. • In winter, wear non-slip shoes, warm clothing, gloves and a hat. • Please take good care of your valuables.
