Tickets Traditional Korean Music Performance Jinyeon Seoul

When I was exploring Seoul travel spots, I found a real hidden gem in Insadong - Jinyeon (a Korean traditional music performance) that instantly caught my attention. I've always been interested in Traditional Korean Music, so I decided to experience it in person. The performance took place in an intimate theater with authentic atmosphere. Musicians, each with over 10 years of experience, played instruments like the gayageum and janggu with incredisble skills. The whole live performance costist of 3 parts with unique parts at each of them. Considering that I was only one guest at that time, I fell really special and welcoming. I highly recommend this event to foreign friends and international visitors who want to experience real Korean culture. Overall it was a high-quality live performance that capture the essence of Korea's music heritage in a moderm and engaging way.

Such a cool cultural experience! I really enjoyed the Jinyeon: Korean Traditional Music Performance! The mix of traditional royal music and modern vibes was amazing. The musicians were super talented! It’s a great way to experience the “real” side of Korean culture, not just K-pop or street food. Very intimate cultural experience for tourists! As someone who's very interested in their culture, I have been to some of their historical sites, but its my first time actually experiencing with my senses their traditional and historical culture of music. I believe your Korean travel is not complete without experiencing this Korean traditional music performance. This three-part performance including the opening ritual made me feel like a royal guest from Joseon period and was kept company and entertained by professional performers enjoyed by their kings. The music themselves plucked my heartstrings especially as they combine both traditional music with the contemporary classics. The performers speaks English and explained their craft well that helped me to appreciate it more. It's intimate and high quality cultural performance that surely worth every penny for a valuable and wonderful experience~

It felt like traveling back to ancient Korea! Even though I’m not Korean, I could really feel their culture, from how they prayed for their ancestors to the way they played the instruments. I especially loved the last part when they mixed Arirang with music from around the world. It was only an hour, but not boring at all! Since it was a private show, it felt more personal and special. Both performers spoke in English, so it was easy to understand and enjoy. Highly recommended, make sure to add this to your Korea itinerary :)

Great cultural experience, both tourists and foreign residents should experience it here. I love historical or Joseon inspired kdramas, so I’m naturally interested in Korean traditional outfits/hanboks, interiors, music instruments and its cultural events, I found all of that in this performance. Perfomers and staff are kind and gave English annotations both in sounds between songs and brochures they give you before entrance. You are not allowed to record through performance but you can take silent photos and after end take group photo so the performers. I would like to come again, since I feel calm and refreshed after listening to Korean traditional music! It is also located in Insadong - the cultural centre of Korea, so you can do many artistic activities or shopping after it.

I’m very interested in Korean culture and music, so during my trip to Seoul, I wanted to try something special. I decided to book Jijidaeak – Korean Traditional Music. This is a high-quality live performance, and the musicians are truly talented. What impressed me the most was how they performed famous pop songs using traditional Korean instruments. It was incredibly creative and unique. Additionally, this place is very tourist-friendly, with all explanations provided in English. This was truly a memorable experience. As a great option for international tourists, I strongly recommend it to anyone visiting Korea!

Such an underrated show! The performers are so talented both in Korean traditional instruments and singing. One of the best 50 minutes in Korea so far. I was in another world of music of Jeoson that time. 1000% recommended.

場所も仁寺洞から少し入った所にありますが、すぐにわかりました。入り口から入るとすぐに雰囲気が違いました。掛けてある韓服を選んできましたが、女性用が少なかったですね。時間に余裕を持っていったので時間まではその場で待ちました。開場するとイスが２列ありました。上段は木の作り付けのイスで前列はパイプイスでした。自由に写真を撮ってたら、スタッフの方が写真を取ってくれて、ポラロイドでも撮って頂きました。この写真は持って帰ってもいいし、出口の所にコメント書いて張ってもよしでした。女性二人の出演でしたが、厳かな雰囲気と所作で空気もピリッとした感じになりました。楽器の音色と迫力ある歌声でとても楽しい時間でした。最後は参加型の歌で手拍子もあり楽しかったです。帰る時にお土産もあり、余韻に浸りながら帰りました。

Located in the beautiful neighborhood of Insa-dong, this performance is definitely a must watch on your visit to Korea. It truly makes you feel like a Joseon royal 🎎 As a fan of ASMR content, I absolutely loved the Gilje ceremony and how calming it was. The next two sets of performances reflected how passionate the performers were 🤌👌 Lastly they finished it with a Korean style traditional rendering of various pop songs including classics from The Beatles ✨️ A 10/10 experience and I loved every bit of it 😁
