Nagoya Grand Sumo Tournament Tour na may Gabay at Tiket

Yuji was an incredible guide. He was knowledgeable and passionate and gave information on every bout. He was invested in the days events and was truly passionate about Sumo and the participants. We couldn’t have asked for a better day. Seats were amazing too. Thank you

this was one of the best expiriences to have in Japan. our guide was very friendly and we enjoy the time there. also buy very nice t-shirts from event and whole it was just very memoriable experience.

sumo wrestling tournament was quite an eye opener for first-timers. guide briefly explained the rules of the game and showed us around the IG arena. but the class A ticket was only 7000 yen while I paid 160 sgd for the klook tour. so I feel it’s overpriced.

Japan makes it so hard to find tickets for the summo tournaments on your own we had no choice but to pay double and do this tour. It was well organized and our tour lady tried really hard to get us excited and to cheer for the guys. She was willing to answer any questions and happy to be there. If you can't get tickets on your own this is a good alternative. We do recommend.

The sumo tournament experience was one of the highlights of our visit to Japan. Everyone in the family enjoyed the whole experience. The issue is with Klook itself. The tickets and experience is actually offered by Japan Wonder Travel and if I had known that , I would have gone directly with Japan Wonder Travel. Not because of the price or upcharge When I was given the instructions by Klook, I was told to "meet with your guide at Meijo Koen station. Your guide will have a green sign board saying "Japan Wonder Travel"" We arrived 1 hour early because we did not want to be late. Meijo Koen station has multiple exits and we looked for a green sign saying "Japan Wonder Travel" and did not find any! Klook instructions are poor and did not even provide a picture of the Japan Wonder Travel sign. Thankfully, we saw someone walking around wearing a picture of the sign and was lead to the meeting area. No way we would have found the meeting area ourselves. Next time will not use Klook!!!!

Wir können JEDEM empfehlen, sich dieses Ereignis anzuschauen. Wir wurden immer mal wieder über den Kampf und die Regeln durch den Guide aufgeklärt. Auch das Essen und die Getränke sind lecker und nicht allzu teuer.

highly recommend for anyone going to Japan to go to Nagoya for this tournament as it’s a crazy show of physical strength. The sumo wrestling culture is still big in Japan and the wrestlers definitely try their all to win and some of the matches definitely end with photo finish moments that require judges to get involved with how close they are. amazing time overall and the IG arena has a bunch of wonderful food and drink stands to choose from. do go to the shop early though as it does close pretty early sometimes.

The experience itself was great, and the new Nagoya arena is wonderful. We only took this tour because we couldn't get tickets elsewhere. The 'tour' itself is no more than taking you to your seats and show you where the souvenir shop is. The guide was friendly and had basic English, I also think he knew less about sumo than we did. Many in our group had no knowledge of Sumo at all, one suggestion to the organizer would be to separate people by level of knowledge, as we had very different questions than the others in our group. The tour itself would be enriched by having access to the place where the wrestlers come in/go out but this was not available. One other low point was the fact that we wasted half an hour of our day by waiting for someone in our group that was late. We eventually had to tell the guide we were not willing to wait more and just asked to proceed. They really should give you the option to go to the arena on your own, and maybe they do but we just didn't ask.

Très bonne expérience ! Plus cher que si nous avions réussi à réserver des billets seuls sur le site sumo.jp mais bien placé et bien organisé. Je recommande... Bonne communication avant l'expérience par mail avec des explications claires sur le lieu de rdv. Très rassurant ayant acheté l'expérience à l'avance de l'étranger. Guide en anglais sur place accessible et prévenante.

This was one of our highlights on our three-week trip to Japan. It was very nice to go to the tournament with a guide who was there to answer all our questions!
