Nakamura Tokichi Main Store (Nakamura Tokichi) Tea Ceremony Experience and Tea Cuisine - Kyoto Uji

A must-do experience if you’re a fan of matcha. More than just the tea making and ceremony the staff also guide you through the history of the company and share fun facts about matcha and Uji. The matcha grinding experience is a workout! The ceremony portion is peaceful and makes you take time to appreciate the process. The matcha was delicious, not bitter, balanced. The jelly and red bean dessert at the end was a perfect ending for a warm May day.

Nagustuhan ko itong pribadong seremonya ng matcha tea para sa 4 na tao. Marami akong natutunan at kumain kami ng jelly. Bukod pa rito, nakabili kami ng matcha can na ubos na sa tindahan.

Kahanga-hangang karanasan sa kabuuan, matututo ka ng kaunting kasaysayan at impormasyon tungkol sa matcha, at ikaw mismo ang maggigiling ng iyong matcha! Ngunit ang mga dahon ng tsaa na ginamit ay may mababang kalidad kaya hindi gaanong masarap ang lasa, medyo nakakadismaya ito dahil sa presyo.

amazing experience and loved the cultural aspects of the whole tea ceremony. The lady who hosted us was very friendly and lovely. also met other friendly travellers.

The overall experience from start to finish takes 45m. the the other 45m you can stay there drinking your match and eating the dessert. The Matcha and Dessert are indeed very good but the experience itself is not worth the money. You drink and eat what they already sell in the store so it's not special. And also they ask you to grind the matcha yourself. I am not into this type of activities so I politely declined and the woman as a bit angry because of it. They speak a little English but it's enough to understand the history. Would honestly, NOT RECOMMEND.
